Jenny Verplanke

Born in 1952 in IJzendijke, Jenny Verplanke (Jenten) has built an international career since 1999, exhibiting in countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Malaysia and Luxembourg. Her body of work spans paintings and bronze sculptures, defined by a distinctive, recognisable signature. She has received multiple awards, led masterclasses at home and abroad, and has frequently appeared on television, radio and in the press.

Alongside her studio practice, Jenny is committed to Art for All, fostering creativity with children in challenging circumstances worldwide (including Romania, Thailand, Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa, Haiti, Cambodia, India and Peru).
